Aqua Leisure Pools
Aqua Leisure Pools is the sister company and regional domestic pool arm of multi-award winning L & V Project Pools. Irrespective of which entity, all work is supervised and many of the tradesmen work for both companies, providing a high level of attention to detail from start to finish.
During the construction of the featured pool, the process included a Build Over Sewer relaxation, plus piering to suit adjacent retaining walls. This was handled by structural engineers, as each pool project is individually engineered, inspected and certified, while private certifiers smoothly gained the required approvals.
When it came to marking out the pool, the supervisor recommended changes to make the pool integrate better into the surroundings and be more user-friendly. The client had originally proposed a bench at each end of the pool, and it was recommended that a single long bench be provided, giving a larger play area, a seat to enjoy the water feature and length for laps. The cost was the same, yet the result was improved.
As to the delivery of the pool, each stage was pre-planned and the client was informed in advance when each trade would arrive and what the process would entail. In the end this client couldn’t have been happier with the overall result and process. This is typical of why L & V Project Pools were awarded the 2011 SPASA Supervisor of the Year and also Pool Builder of the Year awards.
