The first project featured here is in Mount Cotton, set among acres of tranquil seclusion abounding with wildlife. This 10m-long free form pool features an 8m-wide beach entry with integrated bench seating, which is perfect for both the kids to play and for the adults to sit back and cool off.
The far end of the pool incorporates a fully-adjustable swim jet system to allow the homeowners to swim against a current.
Rather than having the deepest point at the end of the pool, the depth is at its greatest in the middle, further enhancing the lagoon feel.
In lieu of traditional paving, a softer look has been achieved through 300mm rollover coping blended with random pattern natural stone paving, which complements the premium natural finish pool interior.
All of the filtration and sanitation equipment has been hidden within a brilliantly disguised pool equipment house that doubles as a natural rock and stone waterfall, cascading into the pool below.
The pool is managed by Blue Haven Pools & Spas’ exclusive high-tech ‘Jumbo Blue’ filtration and sanitation system to guarantee the lowest possible running costs and minimal maintenance.
Perched high above the Brisbane River waterfront in Hamilton, this architecturally-designed contemporary four storey home plays host to two very different types of Blue Haven Pools & Spas water features, as well as a stylish pool.
The first water feature starts inside the home in the entrance foyer, before meandering outside to provide a spectacular greeting for guests as it cascades over three dual aqueduct spillways and disappears through camouflaged plumbing.
Running along almost the entire length of one side of the house, the second water feature mimics a European luge run, gently flowing into the gorgeous plunge pool below.
As with all Blue Haven Pools & Spas projects, the entire waterscape is maintained by the exclusive high-tech ‘Jumbo Blue’ filtration and sanitation system, which is covered by the largest in-house factory warranty in the industry.
The final project featured here is a 12.5m contemporary formal pool in Chapel Hill, designed as the hub of the home’s entertainment facilities. Rivalling the luxury of an exclusive resort, the pool features a unique moat-style patio entrance, an adjoining sunken bar and a sheer curtain water feature.
Combining the latest technology, a high-definition overhead projector and integrated outdoor screen allow the homeowners and their guests to watch movies from the pool or spa.
Blue Haven Pools & Spas has also recently released ‘Jumbo Blue Ultra’ – an exclusive fully-automated chlorine free pool system. With no chlorine, salt or chemical residue, the purity of the water can be likened to a crystal clear mountain spring. Surprisingly affordable, the system has been stringently tested and scientifically endorsed in Australia to ensure safety.
