A family-friendly, functional pool that maintains a strong visual presence within the hub of the outdoor entertaining area was the homeowners’ brief for this stunning property. What resulted was a beautiful outdoor space that effortlessly connects to the home and extends through to the barbecue and entertaining space, right out to the pool and grassed area.
In close collaboration with the homeowners, Pru Abrecht and Jordan Robinson from Brisbane Pools & Landscapes utilised their knowledge and knack for attention to detail throughout the design and development stage to achieve the best possible outcome. Placed in an area that was previously unused, the pool has been raised above ground level, which in turn allows children the opportunity to play within the rest of the available space.
The 7m x 6m concrete pool design boasts modern clean lines, with a dazzling Aqua Neon interior. A sand filter and saltwater chlorination filter ensures crystal-clear water, while a Zodiac heat pump encourages year-round use.
LED lighting installed in the pool and external landscaping areas creates a beautiful, inviting glow for visitors to the property. As well as this, travertine supplied by Eco Outdoor softens the look of the pool area and provides an organic, natural extension from the home into the landscape.
Glass fencing is the icing on the cake for this project, as it provides a contemporary alternative to traditional fencing and allows the pool to be in full view from all areas of the outdoor space.
