Custom Paving
Under the ownership of Paving Group, custom Paving teamed up with its distinguished sister brand Stone directions to design the ideal waterfront pool area for this Banksia Beach property. all of the products used for this project were manufactured locally, as part of the Paving Group company.
Custom Paving selected Silkstone pavers in ‘Merino’ with an exposed granite inset finish called ‘Granico’ to surround the 10m x 4m pool, which is tiled on the outside with 400mm x 400mm x 20mm artisano concrete pavers from Stone directions. artisano 590mm x 260mm x 70mm square-edged blocks in ‘chalk’ were used for the thick coping to achieve an architectural aesthetic.
Boasting high-strength moulded concrete technology, the quality Brisbane-made products selected were manufactured using raw materials from South east Queensland, including screened granite aggregate and sandstone quartz sand.
The pool features a luxurious spa insert and a virtually invisible skimmer lid from Skimmer lids Pty ltd that blends seamlessly with the paving and surpasses Australian safety standards.
