This stunning 7.5-metre-long, rectangular pool was crafted as part of a completely self-contained outdoor living area. Offering relaxation and entertainment, the pool features an adjoining pool house that was designed with convenience, easy entertaining, and comfortable living in mind.

Clever design has allowed for a view of the pool house television from within the pool itself; this was a significant feature desired by the client, and was achieved through careful planning and coordination. The pool house also contains a kitchen with an in-built barbecue and a fridge, as well as multiple seating options, and a bathroom complete with shower facilities.

The pool itself is also optimised to create an ideal experience for all users; the selection of a saltwater sanitation system ensures a more gentle and pleasant environment is maintained, while the submerged lighting allows for safe and enjoyable swimming late into the night.

The pool and accompanying structure were designed to blend seamlessly with the existing home. The rear deck of the residence overlooks the pool and is positioned directly across from the pool house. This provides a sense of cohesion that is further elevated by a repeated use of materials throughout the interior and exterior spaces.

Consistency of design is epitomised in the carefully selected paving and coping, which perfectly complements the bright white exteriors of both structures. Likewise, the tropical blue shade of the glass mosaic tiles that line the pool is highlighted through the styling of the surrounding spaces.

The sleek frameless glass fence promotes safety without appearing unsightly or obstructing views. The landscaping design adds dimensionality to the outdoor area, with lush greenery and artfully placed palm trees completing the transformation of the property into an idyllic tropical oasis.
