The Original Decking Co
This spacious outdoor entertaining area, designed and built by the Original decking co, features an enclosed dining and lounge for the whole family. the large extension on the side of the home utilises timber-lined eaves with weatherproof blinds to create a completely sealed room that withstands the seasons. Full-length frameless glass windows offer impressive city views from the home’s elevated position, while the pool can be seen to the left of the area. the white walls are offset by durable Merbau decking (also known as Kwila).
The project’s interior design was carefully planned-out, with the ceiling recess housing five stunning lights in varying sizes that create a dappled shadow effect, encompassing the whole structure in an incredible light display. Led downlights highlight the selected artworks exhibited within the wall recesses and this innovative lighting design creates an upmarket hotel-style feel.
This project epitomises the Original decking co’s unique business model as a licensed builder that specialises in outdoor areas. the Original decking co completed every aspect of the project pictured, with full drafting, engineering and council approval.
