The owners of this Brisbane home dreamed of an elegant outdoor living space where their property’s manicured lawns would seamlessly integrate with a formal pool and accompanying cabana. Beau Corp Aquatics & Construction translated their vision into a cost-effective, beautiful and practical outdoor design. Measuring 12m x 5m, the timeless design of the concrete pool means it will withstand changing pool design trends.

Its clean lines and geometric design create an air of elegance that perfectly complements the stately home. Spanning the length of the pool, the infinity edge not only brings a stylish visual feature to the space, but also creates a serene ambience as the gentle flow of water spills over into the soft landscape and underground holding tank below. Perfectly suited to this formal design, the pool features a rich ‘Royal Blue’ Quartzon interior, complemented by glass mosaic tiles. Spa Electrics underwater LED lighting illuminates the pool, complementing the landscape lighting – a key element to the design. At night the space is simply stunning.

Surrounding the pool is frameless glass fencing, which allows uninterrupted views of the pool to be enjoyed from many vantage points within the property. Completely self-contained, the pool cabana overlooks the pool and home, providing a sophisticated space to relax, cook and entertain. A luxuriously well-appointed kitchen and lounge area within the cabana are complemented by an external wood-fired pizza oven, barbecue and alfresco dining area.

Large-format limestone tiles within the cabana extend out to surround the pool, creating a seamless transition from inside to outside. In classic cream neutral tones, the tiles are slip-resistant and cool underfoot. Beau Corp Aquatics & Construction used the acreage property’s established trees to frame the pool and outdoor living space. It was important that the pool, while being the focal point of the landscape, worked in harmony with the built structures and tranquil garden, rather than dominating them. A selection of beautiful native species was planted to add interest and complement the existing established natives.
