The original side yard was transformed into a serene space that pairs minimal maintenance with multifunctionality, creating the perfect outdoor retreat for the homeowners and their family.

Latte coloured travertine paving creates harmony between the abode’s exterior and this family-friendly sanctuary, maintaining stylistic cohesion. The generously sized concrete pool boasts contemporary curves and clean lines, which is emphasised with the uniquely shaped entry steps at both ends of the pool. Flowing on from this modern marvel is the luxurious and strategically positioned fire pit, bolstering the versatility and year-round enjoyment prospects of this outdoor space. This sunken fire pit is installed at the heart of the lounging area.

The inclusion of the water feature adds a sense of calm and comfort to this lavish retreat, amplifying the quintessential Queensland aesthetic. Also designed by Hutton, the landscaping subtly gives way to the lounging area and fire pit, where the lush greenery and tropical natives complement the timeless design of this space and enhances its
relaxing nature.

Working with the existing land levels, the team of experts at Everscapes created interest throughout the landscaping design, utilising the myriad heights and elevation of each area to ensure a cohesive and holistic layout.
