Genesis Pools Project 3

This casual yet elegant pool, designed by ARGO Architects and executed by Genesis Pools, delivers all the clients asked for. A family-friendly pool with great aesthetics, including stunning glass bead surfaces and a tiled feature wall, the space achieved the brief flawlessly.

Cleverly positioned along the border of the property, the 7m x 4m pool maximises space, leaving plenty of room for a generous outdoor entertaining area. The feature wall glows gold and copper in the sun, and marks the boundary of the property, allowing family and guests to relax in their own private oasis. Glass fences with minimal framing provide an unimpeded view of the pool from the entertaining area.

Showcasing beautiful natural wood, the pool and its surrounds are the perfect area to relax or entertain.    

The thoughtful landscaping was also designed by ARGO Architects and completed by Genesis Pools. The dark wood of the deck and the vibrant tropical plants complement each other and draw the eye back to the stunning feature wall. A submerged bench in the pool makes it easy to relax and enjoy the area, and enhances the family-friendly nature of the pool.

In completing this project to perfection, Genesis Pools was faced with the challenge of building on a sloping block. Most of it was unusable; the adroit solution was to raise the pool almost to the level of the deck. The pool required digging by hand, and materials were carried up and down stairs. Genesis Pools was not daunted by complex execution, and brought about a beautiful result in a challenging location.

A TriStar VS pump and Baker Hydro Sand Filter were installed to make maintenance simple, while the landscaping was designed to minimise the amount of debris that finds its way into the filter.
