Outer Edge Constructions Project 2

This welcoming pool was designed and constructed by Outer Edge Constructions to enhance the clients’ small outdoor space. The modern colour palette and design integrates the pool seamlessly with the recently renovated home.

The clients requested a private pool that could be used by their young children. To accommodate, a creeping vine trellis was included for privacy, while a wading area was positioned adjacent to the alfresco area for easy supervision. Frameless glass fencing was installed to allow the clients to admire the pool from within the home. The planter boxes along the boundary fence provide a contemporary and lush aesthetic to the space.

Outer Edge Constructions constructed the pool in careful consideration of the sewer line that runs through the backyard. The pool’s position also allows the clients to reverse their trailer into the garage without hassle. By constructing the pool midway down the property and away from the house, Outer Edge Constructions achieved the illusion of increased space. Measuring 8m x 4m, the concrete pool is perfect for exercising, while its pebblecrete interior features 25 per cent glass for striking visual appeal. The fantasy-granite paving and coping is cohesive with the modern aesthetic of the home and offers a subtle contrast with the pool’s interior. The sheltered alfresco area was created as an extension of the existing garage and provides a great place for the clients to relax.
