Serenity Pool Co Project 1

On this project, the team at Serenity Pool Co. collaborated with the homeowners to rejuvenate their existing pool and to realise their dream home. The clients owned this beautiful house on the canal for a few years, with the idea of renovating the space into a modern delight. Before the reconstruction process began, the expert team at Serenity Pool Co. completely stripped the pool coping, some decking, and more than 100m2 of tiled surrounds.

The pool renovation included numerous upgrades, such as the removal of an existing stainless-steel bridge and the construction of stepping stones with LED strip lights underneath. A travertine coping tile was used for the pool surrounds and outdoor area, which transitioned into matching travertine and was laid in a beautiful French pattern. The obscure shape of this pool renders it completely one-of-a-kind. The circular-shaped spa is fully tiled with black ceramic tiles, while the blue glass pebble that lines the pool provides an opulent and sophisticated look.

All devices and lighting fixtures are remotely controlled through smart devices utilising Clipsal C-Bus and interfaced with a Control 4 Smart Home Operating System, so the settings can be tweaked from anywhere within the pool’s vicinity.

Serenity Pool Co. is the brainchild of director Sam Fitzgerald, who has a background in carpentry and the residential and commercial construction industry all around Australia. In 2012, Fitzgerald travelled to Canada, where he worked as a project manager in a construction company that transformed architecturally designed conversions of turn-of-the-century duplexes into single-family homes in downtown Montréal. Upon returning to Australia, Fitzgerald created Serenity Pool Co., an industry leading company that specialises in swimming pool construction and residential renovations.

With a diverse range of construction expertise, Fitzgerald works closely with each client to ensure they achieve an idyllic swimming pool that is cost-effective.
