Summer Daze Pools Project 2

This 14-metre pool expands on the home’s alfresco area, combining luxury and leisure in this Queensland abode. Designed by the homeowner, Summer Daze Pools worked closely with the client to achieve this stunning pool. Spanning the length of the home, the pool can be viewed from any angle, creating a peaceful water feature and adding an element of safety to the pool’s design.

The homeowner was intent on bringing the calming qualities of water close to home. The design includes three individually controlled small geysers and stepping stone pavers, to transition between the home, pool, and surrounding acreage. The dramatic setting of the pool elevates the aesthetic qualities of the residence’s placement, highlighting the tropical environment and open plan qualities of the home and surrounds.

Formed in a U-shape, the pool is spatially zoned, allowing for maximum enjoyment for guests, young ones, and homeowners. A wading area is perfect for little ones to enjoy, while substantial space is available for submerged relaxation and swimming, and geysers bolster the enjoyment capabilities of the space. These distinct, yet unified, zones within the pool create a functional, showpiece pool.

The glass pebblecrete lining in ‘Mystique’ gives the pool a gorgeous blue hue, which changes as the sun goes down thanks to the addition of Spa Electric internal multicolour LED lights. Complementing the pool water are cool-toned silver travertine tiles, that also respond to the home’s neutral colour pallet and unify the interior and exterior spaces.

With sustainability in mind, Summer Daze Pools installed Astral P320 XT Pool Pump, a unique variable pool pump with a 9-star energy rating, bringing environmental, and cost saving benefits to this versatile pool. The pool also features an Astral vx25 Chlorinator that expertly filters and sanitises this expansive pool for optimum pool health and cleanliness throughout the year.

Summer Daze Pools brought this pool to life through great consultation, collaboration, and design drafting with the client. After much discussion on the main elements and finer details, Summer Daze Pools crafted this pool with the in-house engineers to ensure the building process was smooth and brought the client’s inspired and creative ideas into a physical and practical pool.
