The owners wanted a functional and practical area that could be enjoyed by the whole family. Rlo Pool Construction achieved this by building a pool with family use in mind, and by including pool seating to extend the useable outdoor areas. The deck was also designed for family activities, and shading was added to ensure as much time could be spent in the area no matter the time of day or weather.
The natural levels of the property posed structural challenges that the team overcame to provide practical and aesthetically pleasing solutions. Rlo Pool Construction worked with every available area to push the boundaries of engineering design, resulting in this spectacular pool. The team took a lead from the existing area when deciding on the size of the pool, so that the finished product worked with the surroundings to look proportional and beautiful. The addition of a feature wall was the finishing touch.
The location, design, and finishes are standout features of this project. The pool itself is constructed from sprayed concrete, and the surface is a Blue glass Pebble Company product. Himalayan natural quartz provides the surrounding paving. The natural finish means it is slip resistant, while still stylish and creating a light and classic aesthetic.
To give the homeowners their perfect finish while maintaining family safety, the fencing was constructed from custom glass, allowing the flow of the outdoor area to remain uninterrupted.
LED lights have been used in the surroundings, as well as for underwater lighting, so that the pool can be used at night. The lighting combined with the 9-star power rated pump also provides important energy saving features, meaning more fun at a lower cost and reduced environmental impact.
