In a Queensland first, an 880m² Solar Pool Heating system with a live data feed has been installed by Sunbather at the Bundamba Swim Centre. The live data logger and display system allows the city council to monitor the kilowatt contributions from the solar pool heating and heat pumps, as well as the energy-saving results of the pool covers. The solar heating system has reduced energy consumption by up to 68 per cent, which saves the centre approximately $60,000 per year.
