As a perfect display of JB Pool Construction’s expertise, this amazing pool features a stunning glass-mosaic interior. The 15m x 4m pool offers striking views from anywhere within the home, including from the basement’s remarkable porthole windows.

JB Pool Construction collaborated with Paul Clout Designs and Allwood Contractors to ensure the desired result was achieved. The pool required intricate structural and geotechnical engineering prior to construction. Nine 600-millimetre-wide reinforced concrete piers were installed to support the pool’s structure and eliminate additional stress on the home’s foundation.

The pool was strategically positioned to avoid the cool southerly and south-easterly ocean breezes. Fitted with an electric heat pump from EvoHeat, the pool can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Designed specifically for the pool and water features, a QuikClean in-floor cleaning system quietly and efficiently cleans the structure while improving circulation, sanitation, heating and chemical efficiency. In conjunction with the cleaning system, a PureSilk water management automated control and dosing system maintains the pool’s pH and chlorine levels. Submerged ATOM EM series LED lights from Spa Electrics offer beautiful illumination, while the pool’s top-up water is economically sourced from rainwater tanks.

Cast into the home’s slab and footings, three splayed twisted-stone columns and four bowl water features add elegance to the pool area. Large limestone pavers and elements of schist rock were used throughout the interior and exterior of the home for visual cohesion between the two spaces.

An infinity edge water feature was also positioned adjacent to the dining room, while a bright breezeway joins the main bedroom and bathroom, and provides a tranquil aesthetic. The surrounding landscaping was expertly designed by Tecscape Landscaping Contractors to beautifully complement the interior of the home, as well as its spectacular surrounds.
